Charles Goodman served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Jewish Agency from 1995 to 1999.  He previously served as Treasurer, Vice President and President of the CJF, as Treasurer, Vice President and President of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and Jewish United Fund Campaign Chairman.  Currently he is the Centennial Campaign Chairman of the Jewish United Fund, as well as a member of the Board of JDC and a trustee of Brandeis University, and a member of the Board of Governors of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

A graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Charles Goodman is a Principal of Henry Crown and Company, a Chicago-based investment firm.

A member of the Jewish Agency’s Board of Governors since June 1989, he serves as the co-chairman of the FRD Committee, as well as a member of the Budget and Finance Committee and of the Coordinating Committee between the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency.
