Michael Papo is the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Indianapolis since 2001. Previously, he served as the Executive Director of Birthright Israel North America (1998-2000); he also served as the Executive Director of the Koret Foundation of San Francisco (1991-1998). Between the years 1984- through 1991 Mr. Papo served as the Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Silicon Valley and prior to that he was the Associate Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of San Francisco.

Michael Papo has a MSW Degree from UC Berkeley University.

He is an Associate-Member of the Board of Governors since October 2004.
