Hello to both of you from Jerusalem!!!
First of all, I would like to take this opportunity to thank so very much for everything both of you have done for me. It is unbelievable how you and the NBN organization have done such an outstanding job. Within four days I had my Teudat Ole and Teudat Zehut -- amazing. Your partnership with NBN has definitely facilitated all the olim and just doing that you made our lives so much easier and uncomplicated with no red tape or bureaucratic problems. [Iddo Katz] YASHER KOACH TO YOU AT THE ALIYAH CENTER AND NBN.
So I sent this email to my friends in America and since I consider you my friends also (AND I hope we can keep in touch) I am also forwarding it to you:

I just got my Bezek line (Bezek is the phone company here) today so until a few days ago I was unable to access the internet at all.
There is so much I would like to say so I will start from the beginning, OK?
The flight was great and very emotional. Tony Gelbart (one of the Founders and Sponsors of the official flight came by and spoke with everyone of us -- a very good human being.) I heard that the aliyah was televised by CNN and the New York Times had an article about it so if I get my hands on it I will send it to you. Also, try Kuma.org.
The only snag was that one of my suitcases came with the second flight so I had to wait until it arrived and I got home at about 6pm Jerusalem time so Max and I were exhausted.
My landlord and his family took me in and I am now part of the Shimoni family and Nira (one of the daughters and I hit off pretty well and we became very good friends and better than sisters). I believe that G_D has truly blessed me with so many good people everyone has been so kind and so helpful that I have tears in my eyes and I thank G_D every morning and night and also in between.
Life is beautiful here in Eretz Israel and my paperwork is ALL done so I have my Israeli ID card and my Teudat Ole, a bank account, etc... I love my apartment -- it is actually a one bedroom apartment with a enormous balcony of the size of my bedroom in New York. No need for airconditioners here there is a breeze all the time and at night I have to use a quilt because it gets pretty chilly.
I had dinner in Tel Aviv last Shabbat with the whole mishpahat (about 25 people) actually it was barbecue -- near Jaffo and on Saturday we went to the Dead Sea -- AWESOME PLACE -- and had dinner at friend's house.
By the way, except for computers and the like, appliances here are fairly inexpensive -- I bought a 29 inch TV Lenco (a Sony brand) for NIS 1,620 including delivery (US$343) NOT BAD right? I will buy appliances here even if it is a little bit more expensive (which they are not) and help the Israeli economy.
I still have so much to tell you but hopefully I will see you here soon and we can catch up.

So, Iddo and Ayelet, I truly appreciate everything you have done for me and allowing me to come to my home. Hope we can keep in touch.
With warm regards,
