The Philadelphia farewell event took place on June 21st at Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia. 

Speakers included Uri Palty of the Consulate General of Israel, and Jerry Zimmerman, the chair of Israel overseas programs.

In addition to the 50 Olim and family members, who partook in the event, new Aliyah candidates joined the group due to an advertisement which was placed in newspapers.

During the event, members of Garin Tsabar of the scout movement shared stories about Army Aliyah. 

Additionally, Rachel Levy told her personal story about her M.A. degree which she completed in Israel through the Student Authority.
