Dear Tova & Hava & Akiva,
My father arrived this morning at Lod on schedule, without parade and fanfare, and uneventful, thank G-d, with a tear or two in his eyes. His only complaint through the entire process (except for his concern about getting his passport back in time) was the hyperactive little boy who sat next to him on the flight from Newark to Israel. The boy kept jumping up and down in his seat and kicking my father for most of the flight. With the help of the AACI rep, however, my father quickly forgot about the boy and successfully without hassle "sailed" through the Misrad Haklita paperwork.
I am writing to thank you all for your tremendous help. Your team really made a major, nervous event easy.
On behalf of my father's 3 sons and daughters-in-law, his 20 grandchildren and, of course, most of all, on his behalf, we all thank you for your wonderful and most kind help.
Had I been a newspaper reporter or editor, I would be compelled to write a feature story on this event and assign it to page one.
Chag Kasher Visameach. May Hashem protect you and continue your strength in most your important work.
With best regards
Sheffer Fialkoff
