Special Studies on the Megillah:
Introduction

This collection of files for Purim reflects the flavor of the festival
itself, with some serious textual reflection.

We have selected two articles by Dr. Gavriel Haim Cohen, of Bar Ilan
University, which have been translated and adapted from the Hebrew.

The first is a study of the parallels between the accounts of
        Joseph [Genesis XXXIX-L]
and Esther [Ch II-IX] in their contexts and style.
This will also be suitable for group discussion.

The second is a three-part study of feminist perspectives in the
Megillah through the development of the account: you will need
to save all three files to study this.
