Why Is This Village Different From All Other Villages?
Dear Friends,
There can be no more unique place for a Jew to celebrate Pesach than Youth Aliyah's Nitzana residential village. Located on the Israel-Egypt border, Nitzana overlooks the Sinai desert and thus harks back to the Exodus of the Torah when the Jewish people were redeemed from slavery and came to freedom in the Promised Land. And since its establishment Nitzana has been an integral part of the Modern Exodus, serving as the first home in Israel for new immigrants from throughout the Diaspora. Nitzana also symbolizes the potential for peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors.
