Israel's Pilot Cadets Work Alongside SELAH and KEDMA Students

Each Friday pilot cadets from the Israel Air Force team up with Nitzana's SELAH and KEDMA students to undertake volunteer work at the Tel Nitzana archeological site. The pilots and immigrant students rehabilitate and signpost tracks and remove obstacles. Of course the work is of secondary importance. The significance of the activity is in the encounter between the immigrants and the pilots, who are considered the cream of Israel's young adults, which enriches both groups. The volunteer work creates a common bond between the pilots and immigrants and generates a sense of optimism and shared values.
