The delegation of the Swiss Friends of Kiryat Yearim also dedicated the Carmen Meyer Cafe at the village.

The cafe is a tribute to the immense efforts made by Carmen Meyer to assist the children of the village.

Ms. Meyer served as Chair of the Swiss Friends for 12 years before stepping down in 2005.

The cafe will be run by the students themselves.
