Eitan Shaul has become Director of the Jewish Agency’s Youth Aliyah Institutions. He assumes the post after returning from four years in the United States where he served as the Jewish Agency’s Israel Department representative in North America. Shaul, 48, also spent four years in America as emissary to the Jewish Federation of Bergen County, New Jersey. Born in Israel the former Director of the Adi Yaffe Community Center in Gilo, Jerusalem is married with three children.
“On the one hand I see my role as to strengthen ties between Youth Aliyah and its family of donors worldwide,” explained Shaul, “and on the other hand to strengthen the villages and their relationship to the Israel Department so that the maximum number of children can benefit within the framework of the Jewish Agency’s Youth Futures program.”
