Enhanced Female Empowerment

Kiryat Yearim’s female empowerment program entered its second year with increased funding from Israeli Lion of Judah Women through the Spirit of Israel and the Jewish Federation of Greater Miami. The extra budget will enable the program, which emphasizes assertiveness, the role of women in the 21st century and sexual harassment, to broaden its scope. The village’s seventh to ninth grade female students participate in the program, which includes drama therapy workshops.
