Danny Rebuck, an Arsenal coach and professional, opened a new Pesach Camp for the Kids of Netivim and Raanana at Hadassah Neurim during the Passover break in March, 2007.
The kids are happy and running around, being coached mainly in English, killing two birds with one stone: Football and English Language.
Danny is a New Oleh who is involved with the Arsenal and sports program at Hadassah Neurim, following the vision of giving students a chance to make a profession and a job opportunity while studying at the village.
The program, designed by Nachum Katz, the village director, and David Turner from England, is entering a new phase, with the beginning of the renovation of the large sports hall and the developing of more trainer's courses in the fields of sports. The goal is to open a self sustained center that will develop and train young coaches, life guards and trainers from among the young students of Hadassah Neurim. One of the first graduates of the first part of the Arsenal football training course, Michael Rozin, a boarding school student at Neurim already got himself a job in the Pesach Camp, and he sets the example for the future, so we hope.
