In August Hadassah Neurim held a parents day for all the new immigrant children from the north being hosted in Youth Aliyah villages.

More than 1,200 immigrants gathered at the village and for most of the children this was a highly emotional occasion as it was the firsttimethattheyhadseentheirparents,who had remained in the war zone, for several weeks.
