David Blaine’s Visit Just the Trick

World famous magician David Blaine enchanted the children of Hadassah Neurim in August when he made a visit to the youth village to entertain the new immigrants from the north who had been evacuated there during the war. The 33 year-old New York Jewish illusionist, who has been buried alive, frozen in time, left in mid-air on a tiny platform and most recently drowned alive in an eight-foot sphere of water outside of New York’s Lincoln Center for a week, entertained children with card tricks. The visit was organized by UJA-Federation of New York.
