Located near Netanya, Hadassah-Neurim is jointly owned by Hadassah Zionist Women's Organization and the Jewish Agency, and is run by a non-profit association. With 200 boarding students and 260 day students, it is one of the largest youth villages in the country.
Neurim takes students aged 14-18. Its curriculum includes regular high school studies with full matriculation, as well as vocational tracks, including electronics, auto-electricity and mechanics. The school is particularly strong in the fields of sports, art, music and drama. The Neurim dance troupe is well known and has performed extensively in Israel and abroad. The school also has a student choir and drama club.
Some new projects incorporated in Neurim are: therapeutic horse-back riding for the physically disabled, a special soccer track sponsored by Maccabi Netanya. These, in addition to the special athletes’ track designed especially for the talented youngsters from Ethiopia, now enrolling also olim from the FSU and Israeli-born.
