IDB Group Invests in Youth Futures
After the Second Lebanon war, Nochi Dankner, Chairman and CEO of the IDB Group, announced that, "the IDB Group has a responsibility and an obligation to enlist, with no conditions, to the effort to help the residents of the North". Introduction - Rany Trainin
Dear Friends,
Even before stepping into my position as the Co-Chair of the Israel Committee, I was well acquainted with the Youth Futures program and its successes.
As the Mayor of the Yoav Regional Council in the south, I know firsthand the challenges that the periphery in Israel faces with giving its younger generation a future in which they can fulfill their true potential. Our children are our future – and the Youth Futures program helps those in need to create new futures for themselves on their way to becoming contributing members of society.
The Youth Futures’ breakthrough partnership model is vital in reaching our goal, and I find it very rewarding to see Jewish donors – both overseas and Israeli – come together with the Jewish Agency to make a real change in the lives of these children and their families.
I would like to send the friends of YF my warmest thanks for their help and support, and hope that we will be able to continue to work together for years to come.
Best regards,
Rany Trainin
Co-Chair, Israel Committee
