Locations selected for the Youth Futures pilot meet four basic conditions for launching the pilot:
- Involvement of a Partner Jewish Federation/Diaspora Jewish Community/Strategic Philanthropist.
- Involvement of a Young Community.
- Involvement of the Municipal Authority.
- Civic Involvement.
Youth Futures pilot programs are set to begin in seven locations this year:
- The Northern Confrontation Line Communities - Merom Hagalil and Maale Yosef Regional Councils - are joining the program together with the UJIA Great Britain. Educators from Kibbutz Pelech will serve as the young community.
- Tzfat and Hatzor are joining the program together with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County. The Tzfat Zionist Torah Center and educators from Kibbutz Eshbal will jointly serve as the young community for Tzfat, while a group of Bnei Akiva Youth Movement graduates from Hatzor, known as "The Vision of the Next Generation", will serve as the young community for Hatzor.
- Beit Shean is joining the program together with the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland. Graduates of the Noar HaOved VeHalomed Youth Movement from Kibbutz Hanaton together with a group of local Beit Shean young adults will serve as the young community.
- Ofakim is joining the program together with United Jewish Communities of MetroWest. Members of the Alon Association together with a group of local Ofakim young adults will serve as the young community.
- Dimona is joining the program together with Keren Hayesod/United Israel Appeal. College students, members of the Ayalim Association will serve as the primary young community, likely with some support from graduates of the Noar HaOved VeHalomed Youth Movement.
- Eilat is joining the program together with UIA Canada - Toronto. The young community will be comprised primarily of local Eilat young adults, including members of the Religious Zionist Garin.
