Re: Business-to-Business: Partnering Israeli & Diaspora Jewish Business Leaders for Civic Entrepreneurship" at the prestigious International Globes Conference

In follow up to our previous announcements on this new initiative in partnership, we are pleased to send you an official registration form for the prestigious International Globes Conference and a preliminary outline of the conference program. The registration form also includes the opportunity to make reservations at the David Intercontinental Hotel in Tel Aviv which is where the conference will be held.

Our new Business-to-Business (B2B) initiative with the Globes has generated a tremendous amount of interest among our communities and we hope that each of our Partnership 2000 communities will be represented by at least two to three business leaders (not necessarily members of P2K). Just to recap, our goal is to enable these business leaders to collaborate as civic leaders on how they can strengthen the State of Israel, their own Jewish communities and the Jewish people at large. 

In addition to the general conference, there will be several special sessions for our Partnership participants during the International Globes Conference on December 8, 9, 10th, 2007. Please note that this is still subject to change and that details will be forthcoming as the program is finalized.

• Saturday, December 8th: Special Opening VIP Dinner
• Sunday, December 9th: Special invitation only Lunch with Jewish Agency leadership, Israeli dignitaries, Israeli business and philanthropic leaders
• Sunday, December 9th: Optional cultural evening program in Tel Aviv
• Monday, December 10th: Jewish Agency Session on "Business-to-Business: Partnering Israeli & Diaspora Jewish Business Leaders for Civic Entrepreneurship"
• Possible site visit within framework of conference to see example of cutting edge high tech sector

In addition, on Tuesday, December 11th, we will be holding our annual National Partnership 2000 Conference in Israel (akin to what we convene in Newark, USA). All of our B2B participants will be invited to the opening of the National P2K Conference and a site visit to see how Israeli Philanthropy is already partnering and supporting the Jewish Agency's work in the field. The site visit will depart directly from the conference.
