Mission participants from Toledo, Ohio at Yad Layeled.

A Solidarity mission from Toledo, Ohio visited the Western Galilee region in the context of Partnership 2000. Sixteen participants visited the Western Galilee Hospital, Yad Layeled in the Ghetto Fighters' Museum, and Hafuch Al Hafuch, a youth coffehouse and information center in Akko which is supported by Partnership 2000.

At the end of this exciting day there was dinner with host families from Akko and everyone participated in the main ceremony of Israel Memorial Day in Akko.

Partnership 2000 promotes people-to-people relationships between our Jewish community and Israel's Western Galilee through cultural, social, educational and economic programs. Toledo along with 12 other cities in the central United States, is linked with the Western Galilee, located in the most northern part of Israel on (along) the Mediterranean coast.
