Delegations from
Canton, Dallas, Dayton, Des Moines, Ft. Worth, Indianapolis, Louisville, Omaha, San Antonio, Toledo and Youngstown
are expected in the Western Galilee during the week of November 10 -14, 2003. Over
150 Americans
will see Partnership 2000 from up close, visiting the Western Galilee Hospital, Ghetto Fighters' House, Western Galilee College, Kibbutz Hanita and more. Many of them will join the Western Galilee P2k volunteers for a Party on the Mediterranean on November 12th in the evening.
During the week, 20 representatives from eight communities will participate for three days in the Joint Steering Committee. They will meet together with their Israeli counterparts to learn about the P2k initiatives and decide on the projects to be budgeted in 2004.
The P2k Marketing Team comprised of representatives from the communities and from the region will also meet during the week to develop a marketing strategy for the partnership.
