Following the enormous success of the first two Spring Opera Workshops held in Tel Aviv in 2006 and in 2007, the Israeli Opera, with the generous assistance of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles/Jewish Agency for Israel Tel Aviv - Los Angeles Partnership, will hold the third Spring Opera Workshop in March 2007 guided by an artistic team from Israel and Los Angeles.

For the third workshop once again three tenors from Los Angeles (Timur Victor Bekbossunov, Edgar Ernesto and Ramirez Lopez John William Gomez) will come to Tel Aviv to work with members of the Israeli Opera's Opera Studio. As in last year's workshop, Vera Calabria, a renowned opera director residing in Los Angeles, has kindly agreed to be the artistic director of this workshop in tandem with Tamir Chasson, the director of the Israeli Opera's Opera Studio. Ms. Calabria has established the connection with all singers from LA, all of whom study these days in the Los Angeles area.
