A group of Los Angeles professionals specializing in treatment of the homeless and family rehabilitation spent a week in Israel earlier this month. The delegation marks the continuation of a project of the Partnership's Health and Welfare Committee, focusing on food insecurity.
 
The following letter was addressed to Marilyn Pepper, who coordinates the Health and Welfare Committee.

"How can I ever thank you for your hospitality and generosity of time and spirit? I would like to extend my gratitude to you and to the entire Partnership for the trip of a lifetime.

Adina, Ruti, Gitit, Sharon, Yaachov, Hagar, Yossi…the names go on and on. You were all so wonderful. I have described my visit as an educational vacation. I learned. I connected. I fell in love with Israel again! The information that we exchanged and the connections that we made is what this partnership is all about. Thank you for sharing with us and for taking such good care of us.

I may get used to that. The hardest part of my return is that now I have to make the decisions and plans!! I hope this is the beginning of a lasting connection to you and to all of the people who made our visit so special. Thank you again. I will be thinking of everyone with thoughts of health, happiness and peace.
