The Beit Shemesh and Mateh Yehuda area is alive and well with women opening up small businesses every year, but are these businesses successful and do they have what it take to last another five years?
The Economic Development Subcommittee of Partnership 2000 believes that businesses need help in order to succeed and thrive. It is not enough to open a business, one needs to constantly be learning new skills and to be organized with an effective marketing and sales plan, efficient time management skills and more. With this in mind we are opening up a course in September which will be lead by Ayelet HaShachar, who heads an organization with much experience teaching women's businesses how to succeed.
The course, which will run from September - December 2008, is designed for women who have been running their businesses for at least two years. It will include 10 meetings, one a week for 5 hours each week. During the course the women will learn about various subjects including: marketing and sales, coordination and time management, business leadership, business planning, marketing planning, sales effectiveness, communication with customers, financial planning and more.
An extra bonus of this course is that it includes private one-to-one hours with a business coach, and a personal coach, in addition to the hours of the course. There will also be private consulting sessions with a financial planner.
The course takes a holistic approach to running your business. It's not just about business but about you, the businesswomen. How do you balance your work with your family? How can you network with other business women to help each other advance your businesses? The program takes into account the physical and logistical aspects of running a business as well as emotional and spiritual issues that come into play. The course will teach the women how to achieve more by using their existing skills and resources and also to be more aware of the issues that keep them from moving forward to their full potential.
The course will begin in September. Cost - 2,000 NIS. It includes: 10 classes, 10 private coaching sessions, 2 sessions with financial planner, and business coaching sessions with Ayelet HaShachar the course facilitator.
Registration by August 7, 2008.
