The Bar-Shain family bonds with their new Israeli friends

I wanted to thank you for all your hard work in organizing the Beit She'an mission. We hosted 2 women for Shabbat and we had a fabulous time!
This was one of the most fun Shabbatot we had all year. When I volunteered to host I wrote on the form that we had 3 little boys with lots of energy and that we have a very active house. I wanted to warn our guests that our home wouldn't be the best place for a quiet Shabbat afternoon. You couldn't have done a better job matching us with our guests (Fani Sruya & Zahava Levi). They were full of fun positive energy!! We felt so lucky to be able to spend Shabbat with them.
I am always saying that I want to go to Israel and to take our kids. Unfortunately it will take several years before we have saved enough money to take the whole family. In the meantime it felt like Fani & Zahava brought a little bit of Israel to us. I loved the opportunity to speak Hebrew with them and I was thrilled that our children had exposure to such wonderful Israelis.
All day Sunday I missed them...they had been so much fun that I really noticed their absence.
The Partnership 2000 program you have all worked so hard on offers so many benefits to so many people. Each person who is involved is touched by it. This is the first time that our family has been involved in any of the Beit She'an projects and you have sparked our interest! We would love to host people again in the future. We also look forward to visiting our new friends in Beit She'an when we do make it to Israel. You have done a wonderful job of establishing connections.
Thanks again for giving us the opportunity to host 2 incredibly inspiring women - Fani & Zahava! It was an unconditionally positive experience!
