It gives me a greet pleasure to write you this thank you letter.

A few days ago, I received the package of beautiful Challah covers your community made for the Argentine members of Beit She'an. On Thursday, April 3, all of the Beit She'an new Olim gathered at the Cleveland House to celebrate Merav Goldman's birthday. (Merav is one of the staff members at the Cleveland House). After the blessings were said, Merav translated the letter (see below) sent from the Jewish community to the Olim.

The Olim were pleasantly surprised by the gift and were extremely happy to know and understand that you are thinking of them. Please pass the Argentine thanks to everyone.

Dear Argentine Families:

On Sunday, February 9, 2003, hundreds of our parents, brothers and sisters, and friends gathered at our Jewish Community Center to make phone calls on behalf of our federation's 2003 campaign for Jewish needs.

Today we are thinking of our fellow Jews all over the world.

We are especially thinking of you who have recently come from argentina and chosen to resettle in beit she'an, Cleveland's Partnership 2000 region. We know this transition has not been easy for you, but please know our community is thinking of you and wishes you much success as you make a new home in Israel.
