KOALA GARDENS OPEN INDEPENDENCE DAY

It's Israel Independence Day for "Gan Guru's" new Koalas, who will be happy to great you in their new home. This is one of the few places outside of Australia which hosts pet-able Koalas and Kangaroos.

The Partnership 2000 supported Beit Shean Region Small Business Development Center has accompanied the Gan Guru tourism center - part of the larger "Eretz Tamar" tourism program - since its inception. The Small Business Development Center is also assisting Gan Guru obtain financing from the Jewish Agency's entrepreneurial loan fund for the rural sector.

This is also a favorite placement for the Otzmanikim from Cleveland when they are in Beit Shean for three months. After shovelling after the kangaroos, they are able to take on any job!
