REFUAH SHELEMAH NAHUM YANOVSKY
by Andi Milens, Director of Community Relations, Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland

Nahum Yanovsky, an immigrant from the FSU and a Math and Judo teacher, who was injured by terrorists in the west bank few weeks ago, is receiving Clevelanders' get-well wishes from Sagi Melamed, in his Beit Shean apartment. With Nahum is his young daughter Alisa. Nahum is currently recovering from his leg injury.
Every week we send out a briefing about events in the Middle East. Last week we asked people to send along their best wishes for a speedy recovery for Beit Shean resident Nahum Yanovsky, injured in a recent terrorist attack. Here are the responses we have received. Please pass them along to Nahum and his family. In addition, the entire Federation staff joins me in wishing Nahum well.

Thanks!

From Ronnie Ducoff

Refuah Shlaema to you as you try to heal from your injuries. Our hearts are with you as you attempt to raise a family during this violence and maintain a positve outlook as you try to regain your health. We cannot imagine how difficult your lives are right now, but we can tell you how much we support you. Wishing you better days ahead and an end to this uprising. May calmer heads prevail. Good luck to you.

Ronnie and Daniel Ducoff, Benjamin (age 8), and twin brothers Jeremy and Samuel (age 5).

From Fran Immerman

Dear Nahum,

The Immerman family wishes you a quick recovery from your injuries. We know this is a difficult time for you, Lina and your children. We hope it helps a little to know that you have good friends in Cleveland who care about you all and we are praying for you to return to good health soon.

With prayers for peace,

Fran, Bob, Rachel, Sarah and David Immerman
