KH Australia Leader Dedicates Endowment Fund at Ben Yakir
11.7.2007

Max and Leida Shnider of Melbourne, Australia visited the Ben Yakir Youth Village on July 9th.

Max, who is a former member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors and a life long leader of the Keren Hayesod – United Israel Appeal Campaign in Melbourne, Australia, arranged for the creation of a large Endowment Fund earmarked for support of youth at risk.

At Ben Yakir, the Shnider's  dedicated the plaque placed there in memory of Betty and Rose Rosalky, the two sisters whose generous legacy to Keren Hayesod will be identified with the outstanding work being done at Ben Yakir with Israeli youth at risk.
