35 South Africans ranging in age from 22 to 92 years old, participated in the Israel Now Tour the third Solidarity Mission within one year!
"This is about as good as it gets. In fact, it is difficult to see how it can get any better!"
This is the verdict of 35 South Africans ranging in age from 22 to 92 years old, who participated in the Israel Now Tour the third Solidarity Mission within one year.
We were welcomed with great enthusiasm wherever we went and were treated as most valued visitors by every Israeli we came into contact with. We were thanked by so many people for coming to Israel, when in actual fact, we were the ones to give thanks.
As a fact-finding mission we achieved our goal and learned the realities of life in Israel today. We also saw the beauty, the love and the passion of the land of Israel. Many tears were shed during our stay - tears of sadness and tears of joy too. The real face of Israel was exposed to us and all the participants on the Tour arrived back in South Africa determined to spread the truth of what we had seen and learned.
This Tour was the most enlightening, inspiring and emotionally exhausting journey for us all and a time that we will hold in our hearts forever.
