Deputy Consul General David Roet recipient of the Jerusalem Prize 2004

The Wine & Cheese Reception was sponsored by American Zionist Movement with the cooperation of the Consulate of Israel and the Israel Aliyah Center. The program began with a short film about Jerusalem, followed by the presentation of the Jerusalem Prize to Deputy Consul General David Roet, who is completing 5 years in Chicago. Gil Hoffman, correspondent for the Jerusalem Post was the featured speaker.  Hundreds attended and enjoyed this event honoring the 37th anniversary of the reunification of Jerusalem after the Six Day War.
