The Jewish Agency was proud to participate in the two major events that took place on June 29 in London and Manchester saluting the 60th anniversary of the State of Israel.  The Jewish Agency together with the World Zionist Organization sponsored a float in the parade from Piccadilly Circus to Trafalgar Square that featured Theodore Herzl and his visionary statement: "If you have the will it is no legend."

At the Manchester event amidst torrential rain, Jewish Agency shlichim in North England manned a booth that was well attended particularly since it was raffling off a free copy of a beautiful book celebrating Israel and its achievements. This massive show of support for Israel in both London and Manchester during a period where Israel has been the target of hostile initiatives has given an important boost to the confidence of the British Jewish community.
