New immigrants from Ethiopia, who are currently residing at the "Galilee" absorption center at Kibbutz Ayelet HaShachar, distributed holiday gift packages to soldiers and police officers at the Rosh Pina town square in honor of Independence Day.

On each package was a hand written note from the immigrants' children.

The immigrants felt proud and happy to be able to give something to our soldiers. The soldiers themselves praised the immigrants' initiative and thanked them for their warm words and wonderful gifts.
