Since its establishment close to two years ago, the Jewish Agency's Fund to Aid Victims of Terror has helped improve the quality of life for over 1,600 families of terror victims in Israel. Some 6,500 individuals have received grants - for the purchase medical equipment, for housing purposes, to finance studies, etc. To date the Fund has distributed NIS 50 million, to complement assistance provided by the government.

The Fund to Aid Victims of Terror is supported by the world Jewish community through the Israel Emergency Campaign sponsored by the United Jewish Communities of North America and Keren Hayesod-UIA, with major funding from federations, foundations and private donors.

The Fund, headed by Judge Ezra Kamma, coordinates its activities with government offices such as the National Insurance Institute, the Ministry of Security, the Ministry of Immigrant Absorption and the social services in local municipalities.
