JFS "Israel @ 60 Project" pupil frontrunners receive special audience with Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor
The Jewish Agency for Israel organised a visit at the Israeli Embassy for JFS Year 7 pupils, in order to reward the winners of the School's 'Israel @ 60' artistic project.
Ten pupils arrived to the Embassy on Wednesday 23rd July with Mrs Zohara Meshali, Jewish Agency Shlicha to the school and Head of Ivrit.
The pupils were welcomed by a Jewish Agency representative from the Education department as well as a representative from the Public Affairs department at the Embassy (Hasbara). They were shown around the Embassy and were given a presentation of the Embassy's history and its unique location within Moshe Montefiore's original house.
They were later addressed by the Israeli Ambassador Ron Prosor and were given the opportunity to introduce themselves and their projects to him.
The Ambassador was also answering the pupils' questions.
They later enjoyed a picnic at the park opposite Kensington Palace.
