400 Immigrants Arrive from France

July 23, 2008

400 new immigrants arrived from France Wednesday, as the wave of French Aliyah (Jewish immigration to Israel) continues. The Olim (immigrants) were received in a ceremony arranged by the Jewish Agency at Ben Gurion Airport.

The new Minister for Immigration Absorption, Eli Aflalo, said at the event that "at the sight of the faces of these cute kids I am filled with excitement and pride, and I wish them and their parents an easy absorption."
