Keshet Program-Lone Soldiers reunited with their parents

Once again the successful Keshet Program was instrumental in reuniting Lone Soldiers from the FSU, with their parents, in Israel. Many of these soldiers haven’t seen their parents for a number of years.

This year, thanks to the generosity of the Washington Federation, 39 proud parents arrived to see and spend time with their children.

They got acquainted with their children's lives, toured with them and learnt about their adopted country and about the possibilities of joining them.

In 2007, 295 parents arrived for the week visit and later this year another hundred are expected.

It is a treat beyond words for these deserving soldiers and their appreciative parents.
